The Executive Committee series consists of 3 boxes ranging from 1956-2012.The Executive Committee is a sub-committee within Faculty senate. This series consists of meeting minutes, agendas, and overall general notes pertaining to the committee. Along with minutes and agendas from the graduate council.
Slide box includes images from Day Camp, Swimming, Tractor, Livestock, Table Scapes, Groups, Livestock, Misc., Rock Springs, 4-H tours, Agriculture Extension Office Construction, 4-H building remodeling, Dennis P., and Construction.
This box contains two signed K-State volleyballs, one of which has the 2007 Home Schedule printed on it, a deck of playing cards, a Transcriber Company diamond needle, a Pickering Stereo Fluxvalve Cartridge for automatic turntables, a Rolodex with contact information, a certificate of recognition from the House of Representatives to Don and Lynne Rathbone, an album with photos and mementos from Rathbone’s life, and engineering-related tools. These tools include a Hemmi Slide Rule with Don E. Rathbone’s name engraved on it inside a leather case, a Type Ceramic Capacitor Rule, a Pocket Metric Converter, and a Motor Data Calculator.
The department of Food, Nutrition, Dietetics, and Health used to be called the Department of Foods and Nutrition in 1947. Before that it was the Department of Foods Economics and Nutrition (1919-1947). In 1918, Human Nutrition was transferred from the Department of Chemistry. Pictures from meat judging competitions in 1927 are included in this series. Along with, reports of faculty changes and proposals for a clinical Ph.D.
This box contains photos, books, booklets, certificates, and newspaper clippings. These materials are related to both Rathbone’s personal and professional life.
Contains course material for the agricultural program. Such as quizzes, exams, papers on agricultural policy and course work schedules. (1972- 1989) Also has evaluation materials, such as thank you letters/cards, report to the president and congress, farm/ag. handouts/papers/news articles, and booklets. (2000-2003)
