Box includes several resources and guides on different topics, including cultural arts, family living, housing, food safety, and family economics. The box also includes information on 4-H livewires, information includes record books, meeting minutes, secretary notes, certificates of recognition, seal promotions, reports of accomplishments, correspondences and images from the livewires program. Additionally, information regarding the Lindsborg EHU program is present, information includes program booklets, account books and a photobook. Furthermore, box includes a photo of the 4-H king and queen in the year 1998.

This box contains correspondence, agendas, minutes, budget and cost analysis, publications, applications, speech scripts, legislative materials, flyers, newsletters, and notes related to the KSU College of Engineering, as well as projects and organizations that Rathbone was involved with. These projects and organizations include the Kansas Board of Technical Professions, History of the Dolven Family, Freedom Oil and Gas Co., Institute for American Liberty, Great Achievement Task Force, National Youth Science Camp, Retire to the Flint Hills Committee, Leadership Studies and Programs Advancement Council, Kansas State University Foundation, the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, and the Manhattan Rotary Club.

This box contains certificates, photos, slides, correspondence, minutes, speech scripts, notes, budget and cost analysis, booklets, and pamphlets related to the KSU College of Engineering, as well as projects and organizations that Rathbone was involved with. These projects and organizations include the Wrestling House Project, Phi Kappa Phi, Riley County High School talks, the Delphinium Society, the Royal Horticultural Society, the Mid-America State Universities Association (MASUA), the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), the Kansas Power and Light Company.

This box contains booklets, newsletters, pamphlets, application forms, papers, agendas, summaries, and reports related to the KSU College of Engineering, as well as projects and organizations that Rathbone was involved with. The projects and organizaitons include the National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges (NASULGC), the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc (ABET), the National Society of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES), the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), the National Institute for Land Management and Training, and Integrated Circuit Electronics Corporation Inc. (ICE).

This box contains personal correspondence, photos, certificates (most notably, Rathbone’s birth certificate), and newspaper clippings. Some folders pertain directly to the funerals of Rathbone family members, namely Lynne Rathbone, Gladys Rathbone, Fay Rathbone, Wally Rathbone, and Ken Rathbone. There is also material related to Don E. Rathbone’s retirement.

This box contains personal and professional correspondence to and from Don and Lynne Rathbone. There are many subjects, but the majority of these writings pertain to holidays, recreational organizations, and Don E. Rathbone’s retirement.

This box contains books and booklets related to Rathbone’s personal life, Kansas State University, and other engineering-related works.
The personal items include a Stony Island photo album and the Schenley Journal (the Schenley High School yearbook) volumes from 1950, 1951, 1952, and 1953.
The KSU items include the KSU College of Engineering Alumni Directory volumes from 1986, 1995, 2000, and 2008; The KSU College of Engineering Fact Book volumes from 1990-2000 and 2012-2013; Legacy: Engineering at Kansas State University by Cheryl May; The Impact of K-State Engineering; and Kansas State University: A Walk Through the Campus.
The other engineering-related items include In My Words: The Oral History Project as told by Perdue History printed for Donald E.
