Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Records, 1910-2013

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering series contains three boxes consisting of material from the department. It includes faculty portraits, class profiles, Rathbone Hall construction photos, graduate and faculty meeting minutes, an Electrical Engineering Scrapbook, and various pictures and slides documenting different activities and student organizations including Engineering Open House and the Engineering Advisory Council.

Box includes Dale Ladd (County Coordinator & Agriculture) correspondence from 2000 - 2005. Additionally box includes several county and city documents and reports, farm management, department of agricultural bulletins.

Series 2: Department of Applied Human Science, 1919-2011

The Department of Applied Human Science includes several programs, including Communication Sciences & Disorders, Early Childhood Education, Family and Consumer Science Education, Human Development and Family Science, and Integrative Human Sciences. This series includes the reorganization of 1990 that proposed to eliminate the College of Health and Human Sciences and the College of Architecture. There is correspondence regarding program mergers. Photos and news clippings from the child development lab to the protests from the 1990 reorganization. Plans and correspondence regarding the home management houses are included. This department was created by the merger of the Department of Family Economics and the Department of Family and Child Development in 1985 which created the Department of Human Development & Family Studies. The name changed to Applied Human Science in 2020.

Box includes several resources and guides on different topics, including cultural arts, family living, housing, food safety, and family economics. The box also includes information on 4-H livewires, information includes record books, meeting minutes, secretary notes, certificates of recognition, seal promotions, reports of accomplishments, correspondences and images from the livewires program. Additionally, information regarding the Lindsborg EHU program is present, information includes program booklets, account books and a photobook. Furthermore, box includes a photo of the 4-H king and queen in the year 1998.

Domestic Science club history and minutes up until 1961. Early childhood laboratory history and correspondence 1972-1982. The Galichia institute correspondence, proposal, and plans from 1991-1997. Hearings for the discontinuance of the Communication Sciences and Disorders program in 1993. History of home management houses from 1919-1986. Homemaker service project grant application from 1965-1966.
